Christina Syriopoulou is one of the most soulful and multitalented artists in Greece. She is singer, pianist, perfomer and composer. Her passion for jazz singing was born while she was studying in Paris and came across the intercultural crossings of jazz, bossa nova, latin and bebop that were going on in that city.

Her distinctive style focuses on a minimal use of tools to tell the story of the song, transforming jazz into a momentum of performing experience. Her vocals can alter, touching the core of each tradition she sings. She is eager to perform on stage, giving a touch of tenderness.  She also loves to use her voice as an instrument and is fond  to write lyrics, giving her own percpective to the song.

Christina focuses on the music of great performing masters like Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan, Mark Murphy, Kevin Mahogany, Marlena Shaw and she pays a great respect to the cool, hard bop and mainstream of jazz instrumentalists such as Paul Desmond, Joe Henderson Dexter Gordon, Freddie Hubbard among others .

In Greece she collaborates with several musicians and artists in a wide range of styles where she expands her musicality, spontaneity and music awareness.
